About Bill
Bill VanVlack was born in Prince Edward County and
grew up on his family's 4th generation horticulture farm in the Cressy
area.
Bill worked on the family farm while growing up,
and after graduation in 1970 worked in Prince Edward County in
construction, and for Ontario Hydro Lennox Generating Station, and
Ontario Hydro Forestry Division.
Bill married Anne in 1975; Anne is best known for
her years teaching at the local high school PECI, and more recently for
her web site business InfoLink Web Site Development. After getting
married, Bill resumed work on the family farm and owned a school bus,
until 1998. Bill and Anne have two grown children, a daughter Jaime
(Spafford) and son Christopher.
During the years of working on the family farm,
Bill was often called upon by neighbours and friends to watch their
homes, or to help with overseeing construction projects and general
property maintenance. With Bill's background in construction, farming
and transportation, he is familiar with vehicle and property
maintenance. After selling the family farm in 1998, Bill devoted full
time to the home-watch occupation, and enjoys being able to help
property owners feel more secure knowing that they can call on him.
